Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Break the Funnel (email: [email protected]) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website (https://breakthefunnel.com) (the “Service”).
This is a personal project run by an individual, not a company. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will take effect 180 days after posting. Please review this page periodically for updates.

If we ever need to use your data for another purpose, we’ll ask for your consent first—unless legally required otherwise.

For more info, see Mailgun’s Privacy Policy.
4. Retention of Your Information
We retain your personal data for between 90 days and 2 years after your last interaction with the site, or as long as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined here.
Some data may be retained longer for legal or security reasons. Anonymous, non-identifiable data may be stored indefinitely.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR and other applicable laws, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your data

6. Hosting & Data Transfers
The site is hosted on Hetzner servers in Nuremberg, Germany. Your data stays within the EU and is subject to European data protection laws.
Hetzner complies with GDPR and provides secure infrastructure. In addition, Hetzner-managed backups are enabled — encrypted and stored within the EU — to help safeguard against data loss.
All email data is handled by Mailgun’s EU infrastructure (eu.mailgun.net
), ensuring email processing also remains within the EU.
7. Analytics & Tracking
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to track site performance and usage. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable data.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
If we embed YouTube videos, we use YouTube’s Privacy-Enhanced Mode, which avoids setting cookies until you click to play the video. After interacting, YouTube may still set cookies in accordance with its own policies.
Since we don’t use cookies, there is no need for a cookie consent banner.
8. Security Measures
We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. You use the site and share data at your own risk.
9. Third-Party Links & Services
